Chart Library

Chart Library (/chart-library) is a single, searchable page listing every saved view from Cost Explorer, Event Explorer and Usage Explorer — both your own personal views and the account’s shared library — instead of leaving each one reachable only from the “Saved views” dropdown inside the explorer it was originally saved from.

Every saved view across all three explorers, fetched and combined into one list: your personal views plus every view any member of the account has saved to the shared library. Each card shows a live preview of the view’s chart, rendered with the same chart component the pinned dashboard tile would use — so a preview here never disagrees with what pinning it produces.

Use the controls above the list to narrow it down:

  • Search by name.
  • Filter by which explorer a view came from (Cost, Event, or Usage), and by scope (personal or shared).
  • Sort by name or by most recently created.

A view you created, or a shared view you have edit rights to (its creator, or any account admin), can be renamed or deleted inline from its card. Personal views are always editable by you.

Two actions from each card:

  • Pin to… — add the view to any dashboard you can edit, personal or shared, without leaving this page.
  • Open in Explorer — jump back to the explorer the view came from with that view already loaded (?view=<name>), to change filters or dig further into the data.

Chart Library is a browsing surface for saved views, not a widget catalogue — it doesn’t list KPI tiles or the other catalogue cards described in Reading the dashboard. Use Chart Library to find and reuse an existing saved view across dashboards; use the dashboard’s own Add widget picker to add catalogue tiles or build a custom KPI/chart from scratch.
