Connecting

- In the Scaleway console (console.scaleway.com), go to your Organization, then IAM > API keys, and click Generate an API key.
- Grant the key (or the IAM application behind it) the BillingReadOnly permission set. Plutus doesn’t need anything beyond that.
- Copy the Secret Key. Scaleway shows it only once. You don’t need the Access Key.
- In Plutus, paste the Secret Key into the API Secret Key field.
- Fill in exactly one of Organization ID or Project ID — the billing API accepts one or the other, never both. Use the Organization ID to pull spend for every project in the organization through this one connection, or the Project ID to scope the connection to a single project.
- Both IDs are on the same console: the Organization ID is under Organization > Settings, and the Project ID is under Project > Settings.
Scaleway bills per calendar month and publishes no daily breakdown, so spend is recorded against the 1st of each billing period rather than spread across its days. Figures are the real pre-tax billed amounts from Scaleway’s consumption API, in the currency Scaleway invoices you in.
