Method: Personal API Key

  1. In Linear, go to Settings > Account > Security & access > Personal API keys, then click New API key.
  2. Give the key a label and copy it. Linear only shows the key once.
  3. In Plutus, paste the key into the Personal API Key field. Optionally, enter one or more team keys (e.g. ENG, OPS) to restrict tracking to specific teams — leave this blank to track every team the key can see.
  4. Click Save & connect, then Sync now to pull newly created issues onto your cost charts.
